A pedestrian attempting to cross interstate 10 at the exit lane to interstate 35 north was hit by a vehicle and died at the scene Monday night.  The victim a 29 year old man from San Antonio was trying to cross the lower level of the highway shortly before 10pm.  Unfortunately he didn’t  make it and was struck by the vehicle.  The man’s name has not been released.  The driver was not intoxicated and will not face charges the detective said.

A drunken driving suspect crashed into a West Side home early Saturday morning injuring a man inside.  A woman was traveling south on 34 th street in a Ford Mustang when she tried to turn on Motes Drive at a high rate of speed and lost control.  The car barreled through a fence and into a home in the 600 block of Southwest 34th street.

A man sitting on a couch inside the home was struck and taken to a local hospital with injuries.  The woman who hasnt been identified has been charged with drunk driving.

A man died Thursday night after crashing his pickup on the Northeast Side of San Antonio.  Police said the man, had been speeding west in the 1600 block of OConnor Road, near Knoll Creek Drive, when he lost control of his pickup and struck a fence, rammed into a pole and hit a tree.

A school district police officer was rushed to the hospital with a broken knee and wrist after crashing his service vehicle early Wednesday morning.  Pedro Garcia was driving along the 7900 block of Barlite Boulevard and attempting to turn right onto Navajo street just after midnight when the car crash occurred.
